We had an amazing day with our sponsors, vendors and attendees at the Wedding Crasher's Tour this past Sunday and we're thrilled to already have some amazing highlights to share!
While each venue had it's own professional photographer we were very lucky to have our tour photographer for the day, Shalese of Shalese Danielle Photography. Shalese grabbed the attendee perspective of the tour and caught many of our amazing vendors and sponsors in action from beginning to end!
Kicking off the tour was our host venue the John Marshall Ballrooms where attendees grabbed tasty treats from Everyday Gourmet and Blue Bee Cider and found a mini exhibit of host vendors and the tour sponsors that we could not have presented this show without. Our Title Sponsor for the tour was Amye and Scott Brunette of Richmond Weddings and Richmond Weddings Magazine who not only assisted the tour in it's many marketing efforts but featured last year's tour in a gorgeous spread in the latest winter issue of Richmond Wedding Magazine. Our supporting sponsors included The Susan Morris Team, Sue Corral Ink, Diamond's Direct, Winn Transportation, Hot 106.1 and 103.7 Play.
The mood was set with Lighting Professors as the room changed between shades of blues, pinks and purples. Bill Gilliam of CHOICE Entertainment kicked off our introductions followed by our fashion show featuring Alton Lane, Annalise Bridal, Diamond's Direct and ELLE Style Studio taking center stage with gorgeous hair, makeup, gowns, suits and jewelry!
From there, let the crashing begin! While our tours ran simultaneously, we'll kick off the highlights with the Quirk Hotel. Newly opened, modern and quirky this venue played off a Wes Anderson theme coordinated by Fete Weddings and boasted the larger than life tent lounge by Paisley & Jade in the courtyard. Official highlights from #TeamQuirk by Jessica Maida Photography coming soon!
Next up was The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design! And did you hear that this venue has been named People's Choice Award for the second year in a row - Congrats to #TeamBranch coordinated by LK Events and Design! The Branch Museum was our historic venue designed in 1916 and hopping to the sounds of the Shack Band with EastCoast Entertainment. Official highlights from #TeamBranch by Don Mears Photography coming soon!
And finally back at the John Marshall Ballrooms we were excited to give away the swag, announce our Diamond's Direct winners for the $500 and $1500 gift certificates and go out with a bang - literately - Flutter Fetti was shot into the air and with that our attendees were off to celebrate their engagements and some football!
