We have reached our final stop of the Wedding Crashers Tour for 2017 and it captivates with the traditional, southern elegance and charm often found in our couple's wedding visions. The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design is our returning venue and since launching the tour in 2015, this historic gem nestled amongst the row houses on Monument Ave has been our winner for the People's Choice Award!
Team Branch, spearheaded by Wedding Planner and Designer Taylor Batt of Alyson Taylor Events, successfully showed how this castle venue could perfectly blend the masculine tones with soft feminine touches while also illustrating how the outdoor park feel just adjacent to their stone courtyard can be transformed for ceremonies and cocktail hours.
Stephanie Yonce of Stephanie Yonce Photography captures the essence of team branch and brings to the team an electric smile and an eye for their design details. In describing her style of coverage, Stephanie says, "Weddings are huge events, but are peppered with tiny moments that make the day completely irreplaceable. My approach to photography on a wedding day has been described as high-spirited, bright, and natural, and the photos will reflect a day that is entirely your own."
We think you're about to fall in love with this unique venue and the talents of our wedding vendors that brought this vision to life as we close out our tour stops for this event.
As guests entered on to the back lawn of the Branch Museum, they were met with mimosas, a gorgeous soft blend of eclectic and traditional seating that could easily transcend between cocktail hour and reception seating/lounges depending on the season. Vintage high back seating and name card station were provided by Paisley & Jade while Rent-E-Quip prepared the rentals, linens and chairs for the mock tablescape. We just loved the hanging geometric decor in lieu of chandeliers and felt like they offered the perfect hint of modern in this more traditional setting. While the weather was perfect for our event, Rent-E-Quip also displayed a clear top tent perfect for bringing the outdoors in even when the party must be inside.
As guests moved indoors they enjoyed a hint of ceremony seating perfectly illustrating how dramatic they each could look saying their vows with a castle in the background. Leading up to the stone courtyard, we find another lounge seating by Paisley & Jade and the welcoming sounds of live band Good Shot Judy by EastCoast Entertainment.
After closing out our vendor introductions it was time to grab a Blood Mary and sample the delectable cakes by Sugar and Salt and hor'devours by Mosaic Catering and Events. Draping in the formal reception hall was provided by Mosaic and created a heavenly, soft feel inside the stone walls. Florals throughout team Branch's design were provided by Isha Foss Design and could not have been a more perfect fit for that touch of elegant whimsy. Stationery for place settings and menu cards helped complete the look and were the talents of By Invitation Only.
This side room off the main dining and reception halls was perfect for a Bloody Mary and signature drink station by Mosaic Catering & Events. We love being able to offer guests a selection of exciting drinks and bites within each venue and Mosaic never disappoints!
As always, the cake cutting is such a special event in itself during the reception on a wedding day and Sugar and Salt prepared a cake trio for eye candy and then bite sized dessert treats perfect for tasting. Perfect lighting, soft florals, ornate bay windows overlooking the ceremony site and eclectic specialty rentals designed and custom created by Paisley & Jade helped accent these sweet and savory stations.
Adding to the elegant design details of team branch we featured their model bride in cage veil and laced long sleeved mermaid inspired designer gown by Annalise Bridal Boutique. Hair and Makeup by Wesley of ELLE Style Studio and soft greens and whites in her bouquet helped perfect this stunning look.
Congratulations to Team Branch on this elegant venue transformation, sophisticated design and draping ideas for our couples searching for that perfect blend of masculine and feminine tones!
